About Us

Swee Hin is a specialist in industrial batteries, power systems and accessibility equipment. We carry our proprietary brand name of APOLLON-Diamond industrial batteries and chargers,  TS traction batteries and DIAMOND automotive batteries. We also distribute and install Vimec, Kalea and Microlift accessibility equipment, which include platform lifts, stairlifts (chairlifts), home lifts, dumbwaiter (service lifts) and micro-cargo lifts.

We were founded in 1942 in Singapore and started trading automotive and industrial batteries in the early 1950s. Over the years, we have expanded our product range and geographical reach. We now have a manufacturing and assembly facility at Jurong Industrial Estate and a distribution network covering South East Asia, in particular Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Our philosophy of providing quality products and unyielding service is as true today as it was 63 years ago. Our history and growth is the strongest testimonial of customer satisfaction. Swee Hin is a leader in its field. We started manufacturing the Emergency Battery Operated Power Supply equipment (EBOPS) for elevators and battery chargers as early as 1974. In 1994 we became one of the first providers of accessibility equipment in Singapore. We are also a market leader in traction batteries (motive power batteries).

Our achievements to date also include the ISO 9002 award in 1997 for the manufacturing of Emergency Battery Operated Power Supply (EBOPS) and After Sales Service. We are also registered with the Singapore Construction Industrial Development Board as an approved and reputable contractor for :
